Getting Ready for the New Season!
Flexibility is an important part of cheerleading
Get ready for the season by doing the folowing on
a daily basis:
Warm-up 5 minutes
(Examples: Jogging, Jumping Rope, Dance)
Bridges 5 minutes
Splits 5 minutes
Hamstring Stretch 5 minutes
Achilles Stretch 5 minutes
Shoulder Stretch 5 minutes
Lie on your belly and pull a "Scorpion".
Lie on belly, grab 1 ankle at a time
and pull towards your head...hold for 10 seconds.
Repeat with other leg.
Also consider taking Yoga, this is a great way to increase
flexibility. Videos and classes are always available!
